GLU’s academic council provides guidance on the university’s educational programs, research, innovation activities and projects and provides periodic assessment on the performances of each program. It approves academic policies, teaching and learning policies, procedures and technology and evaluates the activities of the curriculum general committee. Academic titles including associate professors, professor, honorary associate professor and honorary professorship are granted through the decisions of the academic council and endorsed by the president.
