Medical Doctor (MD) Program, 6 years, 210 credit hours

GLU’s School of Medicine was established in 2012 with a mission to prepare leaders in the field of medicine, offering an intensive six year undergraduate program. GLU works closely with community hospitals and healthcare providers for practical training classes where many in-practice doctors teach courses in a real hospital environment. GLU plans to invest in a teaching hospital within the next 5 years to accommodate the special needs of its students, faculty, staff and the community. GLU School of Medicine currently enrolls about 200 full-time students. Many of the faculty members are well-known medical doctors and professors. For the past two years, the medical exam acceptance rates for the university was higher than the national average.

Bachelor of Nursing Program:

Bachelor of Nursing Program is a four-year undergraduate program designed to prepare nursing professionals through innovative curriculum and unique leadership development programs. For a full curriculum of the four year Bachelor of Nursing Program.

Bachelor of Accounting

Graduates will be able to work in governmental and non-governmental economic organizations, banking and non-banking sectors, tax services, audit organizations as a financier, accountant, auditor or economist.

“This program covers the principles of maintenance of mining equipment and the design and operation of mine services, including electrical and compressed air distribution systems, mine de-watering systems and mine communication systems. The Bachelor of Law program is a 2.5-4 year program designed for legal professionals specializing in criminal, civic and administrative law and prepares students of all ages in legal education. Bachelor of English Teacher Education

Bachelor of English Teacher Education is both a 2.5 and 4 year program designed for preparing English teachers for educational institutions. With study abroad, internship and joint degree options, this program is one of the popular programs at GLU.

Bachelor of Journalism

Bachelor of Journalism program is a 2.5-4 year program for students who plan to pursue careers in the media and communication sector. GLU has a number of 2+2 agreements with international universities in this program and from the junior year, students can continue to study at one of GLU’s partner universities. Bachelor of Mongolian Language Education

Bachelor of Mongolian Language Education program is a 2.5-4 year program for students who wish to pursue careers in education especially in secondary schools. There are about 800 secondary schools across Mongolia and the career prospects are great for this major.

Bachelor of Social Science Education

Bachelor of Social Science Education is a 2.5-4 year program for students who wish to pursue careers as social science teachers especially in secondary schools and it is one of the highly demanding majors in the Humanities School.
