Global Leadership University (glu.edu.mn) is one of Mongolia’s leading private institutions of higher learning, offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs in medicine, nursing, business, law and humanities with a current enrollment of over 3000 students. It is located in the downtown area of the capital city of Ulaanbaatar of Mongolia and it is only 1 kilometers north of the Parliament House and in a walking distance from major shopping centers, restaurants, museums and other major attractions. There are six schools under GLU: School of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Business, School of Law, School of Humanities and the Graduate School.

Affiliated Organizations and Centers

Global Leadership Foundation:

GLU’s education consulting division, Global Leadership Foundation, offers a variety of scholarship programs in 7 destination countries. In the past, GLF has managed to send over 4500 dedicated Mongolians students to study abroad with substantial scholarships. GLF is the founding organization of the university and still continues to offer a variety of ESL and scholarship programs.

Taiwan Education Center Mongolia:

Taiwan Education Center Mongolia is a joint center run by Ming Chuan University of Taiwan and GLU and it is run under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan. TECM organizes annual education expos, produces publications and media promotional videos, campus visits and alumni activities.

Centers for Executive and Continuing Education:

GLU’s Center for Executive Education offers a variety of certificate programs through GLU’s Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Business, Law and Humanities. In the past, the centers have translated a number of management best-selling books, conducted corporate training, seminars and workshops for top companies and organizations and the general public.

Center for Innovation and Incubator:

As a part of GLU’s strategic objective to become an entrepreneurial university, it has opened an innovation center where students establish their start-up companies and generate innovative ideas. The university has allocated some seed funding for its students, faculty and community members to nurture entrepreneurial activities and encourage innovation across disciplines. With a capacity of 60 seats, GLU’s new iLab will enable students to become entrepreneurs by offering weekly talks, customized education programs and social activities.

New Century Leadership International School:

GLU’s affiliated New Century Leadership School is an international school with a current enrollment of about 200 students, offering 1-12 curriculum fully approved by the UB City Metropolitan Education Department and it has recently been approved by Cambridge International to offer lower secondary curriculum for its 1-8 grade students, making it one of a few Cambridge international schools in Mongolia.
