School of Medicine

The School of Medicine offers a medical doctor program (MD), which is taught in residence for full-time students with 210 credit hours. From the fourth year, students are expected to do practical training at hospitals. The distinctive feature of GLU’s medical program is that starting from the second semester, medical courses are taught in English and our students are offered a variety of opportunities to study abroad and clinical practice at prestigious hospitals locally and internationally. GLU works with a number of hospitals in Taiwan and top medical schools around the world to prepare medical leaders who are empowered to make a positive difference in Mongolia and the world. GLU’s Harvard-style leadership training program prepares students to be better prepared in terms of values, integrity and accountability in their professional settings.
