GLU provides master’s and doctoral students with a supportive environment to work at the school’s “Innovation Center,” where they can write their own business plans, launch startup projects, and collaborate in teams on teaching and research.
The Graduate School supports researcher-students in developing themselves — through participation in GLU’s faculty and student research conferences, national and international academic conferences, project work, publishing research findings, preparing teaching materials, serving as a professor’s assistant, and taking part in university and community service — by granting research credit for such work as provided under the academic regulations, and by supporting publication of results. Students have the academic freedom to freely choose their own master’s or doctoral research topic, to carry out their research independently once their methodology is approved, and to critique, compare, refute, affirm, or support research work independently.
